Yesterday, I laid out my technique for identifying teams to target with fantasy pitchers after the first month-plus of the season. It’s not overly complicated: essentially, I was looking for teams that are in the bottom 10 in several offensive stats.

"Busts? Talk about busts??? You kiddin' me? Busts?" Sorry, I'm doing my best to imitate the infamous Jim Mora "playoffs?" press conference moment. Is it too early to talk about busts? It probably is since so much can happen between now and the end of summer when most fantasy drafts occur.
1. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders It was genuinely tough to decide who was going to be our top-ranked fantasy football rookie quarterback for redraft leagues in 2024. We ended up going with Daniels, who we had ranked as our top quarterback prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft.
With only six games scheduled for Thursday, fantasy owners are short on streaming options. With that being the case and a new month upon us, it’s a good time to run through the teams that are best to target in fantasy right now and how that list has changed.
